Warren Brand heads Chicago Corrosion Group, a leading vendor-neutral consultancy. In a successful career spanning more than four decades, Brand has owned an industrial tank lining and coating firm and has written dozens of blogs and technical articles in a variety of publications. He has managed thousands of coating installation projects and developed specs for thousands of paint and coating applications.
Brand, who is a certified NACE Level 3 and The Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) protective coating specialist (PCS), has earned an MBA, as well.
And now, he’s coming to CoatingsPro Magazine! Every other month, Brand will be writing an online column pertinent to interests of the industrial and commercial coatings industries.
The first column of the “Warren’s Corner” series, which can be read here, covers the “good, bad, and ugly” of working with concrete substrates. Brand will also be contributing to editorial content in CoatingsPro print issues, such as the “Never Again: The Case of the Trench Coating Failure” column.
