located in Mt. Holly, NC announced Samuel W. Henderson Jr. has assumed
the role of President as of January 2014. Doug Bess has served as
President of Charlotte Paint for 11 years and announced his successor in
accordance with the long term plan for continuation of the company. Doug
remains active as Chairman of the Board and working in Project Management and
Sales.
Sam is in his 20th year with Charlotte
Paint. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University and holds a
Bachelor of Science in Architecture. He worked as Project Manager
overseeing projects and developing relationship with contractors and
customers. He has served as Vice President and been part of the
ownership team since 2002. “Charlotte Paint has a proud history of

Founded in 1977 in a small farmhouse in Mt. Holly, NC,
Charlotte Paint started with 14 employees and has grown to two locations with
over 100 employees, and has the resources to handle any size project. They are
