Madewell Products Corporation is pleased to announce a collaborative educational event with Prime Resins, Inc dedicated to Manhole Rehabilitation. Planned for March 16-17, 2022, eight subject matter experts from Madewell and Prime Resins will instruct a 2-day class for specifying engineers, municipal owners, and utility contractors
On the morning of Day One, attendees will benefit from Guest Expert Timothy Back of Back Municipal Consulting, Cincinnati, OH. An authority on Manhole Rehabilitation and Condition Assessment, Mr. Back will speak with attendees on the economic relevance of getting the assessment right for each individual structure versus a project plan built on one-solution-fits-all. Back is a NASSCO Master Trainer, contributing author, and Chairman of NASSCO’s Manhole Rehabilitation Guideline Specification.
Injection Grouting with Prime Resins can be an economical stand-alone solution to stop infiltration in manholes or an important first step in a more comprehensive process. Madewell Products includes restoration mortar to restore structural integrity and epoxy topcoat for protection against Microbial Induced Corrosion (MIC). A Madewell exclusive is the Mainstay process, an application technique whereby the epoxy layer is applied directly to green mortar for a timesaving, single curing process to eliminate defects and extend the lifecycle of the structure.
For successful completion of this course, attendees will earn a Certificate of Accomplishment and 17 hours pre-approved PDH credits (1.7 CEUs) from University of Texas at Arlington (CUIRE). Team learning is encouraged. Participation fee is $575 for the first participant, $475 for the second and third from the same company. Visit www.madewell.net for more details.
