To have a presentation topic considered for the next AMPP Annual Conference + Expo in Denver, Colorado, from March 19-23, 2023, the request must be received by Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
In this context, the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) is currently seeking presentation topics on the following formats:
Informational Topics
These are opportunities to discuss information that is relevant to the industry, but will not require a technical paper. These presentations may take place in Forums, Theatre (Exhibit Hall), Roundtables, Workshops, or Track Rooms.
The informational topic should contain the number of presentations expected to be delivered and the number of people that the presenter wants to be able to seat in the audience. From there, AMPP staff will determine the best location for the presentation.
Peer-Reviewed Technical Topics
Symposia is a way for attendees to hear the latest industry knowledge and methods before it becomes available in popular literature. This traditional format will include a formal call for abstracts.
When submitting an abstract, authors must explain how this work will help advance and provide innovative technologies to the protective coatings and corrosion industries and/or will serve to introduce new information to the existing body of literature. A technical paper is required and will be peer reviewed for the conference proceedings.
Advertorial
Advertorial presentations are a way to promote a company’s products or services. Depending on the topic and relevance to industry, a fee may be required.
Review Process
AMPP staff will collect all requests for the Conference & Events Program Committee (CEPC). The CEPC will review requests in their entirety and determine the topics schedule for 2023. Handwritten forms are not accepted. Symposia chairs should be notified before submitting this form.
Anyone with additional questions or concerns regarding the submission process is encouraged to email papers@ampp.org for clarification.
