James McDonald, a protective coatings industry expert joins Tesla NanoCoatings. With over 20 years-experience in protective coatings industry where his focus was primarily oil and gas, McDonald will add to Tesla NanoCoatings oil and gas industry expertise.

“McDonald’s experience will enable him leverage our carbon nanotechnology and provide our customers with even greater asset protection while lowering their maintenance costs,” stated Todd Hawkins, President and CEO, Tesla NanoCoatings.

A Senior Certified Coatings Inspector, McDonald was awarded the NACE Innovation of the Year for CoatingsCalculator.com in 2013. He has authored and co-authored a number of white papers on tank linings, zinc-rich coatings and protective coatings for well casings.
