Titan Launches Impact X 440 – the Next Generation of the Best-Selling Airless Sprayer in its Class

Building on the Titan Impact 440, the best-selling airless paint sprayer in its class, Titan announces the launch of the Impact X 440 electric airless sprayer. This next-generation compact sprayer boasts new technologies as well as performance and productivity features that have only been available on larger sprayers – until now.

“With the Impact X 440, we’ve re-engineered and re-imagined the legendary 440 to spray even faster, smarter and better,” said Brent Jane, product manager for Titan. “It takes productivity to the next level with new technologies and smart design features not found on competitive models.”

New tip-sensing technology pairs with DuraLife™ Brushless HE Motor

The Impact X 440 features Titan’s new Logix™ Adaptive Pressure Control System, a tip-sensing technology that pairs with Titan’s new DuraLife™ Brushless HE Motor to automatically adjust power and pump speed for consistent pressure and smooth, steady flow. They work together to ensure the pump works only as hard as needed for the application, making it run cooler for years of maintenance free operation. The brushless motor makes the Impact X 440 the most powerful and durable Titan 440 ever and it is backed by Titan’s WearGuard® Lifetime Motor Warranty.

Fluid section maximizes jobsite efficiency

The MaxFX™ Fluid Section on the Impact X 440, the first of its kind on Titan compact sprayers, allows for maximum uptime and productivity with fluid section changes in minutes on the jobsite.  Self-adjusting and self-compensating Quad+ Packings™ are proven to extend the life of the fluid section and deliver productivity job after job. The durable PermaLife™ Cylinder never wears out and never needs replacing.

New technology for smooth prime-to-spray transitions

The Impact X 440 has two new technologies – the Anti-Splash Diffuser and the lever-action Prime/Spray Valve – that work together to minimize the chance of the return hose jumping from the material container when switching from spraying to priming. The lever-action bypass valve gradually and evenly releases pressure from the unit when switching from one position to the other. The Anti-Splash Diffuser disperses pressure from the unit more broadly than units that release pressure through the hose.

Smart new design features

The Impact X 440’s Vertical Filter Housing cleans up to three times faster with as little as 1/3 the water. For maximum portability and comfort, the sprayer is 30 percent lighter than comparable models and has a 360-degree adjustable, ergonomic carrying handle for maximum comfort, grip and portability.

In 1986, Titan introduced the predecessor to the Impact X 440, the Titan 440. It was one of the first compact, lightweight and affordable electric sprayers, putting paint sprayers within reach of many pro painters for the first time. It was a game-changer, helping contractors increase productivity, and in turn, profits on residential, property maintenance and small commercial jobs. With the introduction of the Impact X 440, it’s even better.

The Impact X 440 is available in the U.S. and Canada at professional paint and equipment retailers. MSRP is $1,766. Visit www.titantool.com for more information.
