The International Roofing Expo (IRE) concluded last week in Las Vegas, achieving unprecedented success and solidifying its position as the premier platform for advancements in the roofing and exteriors industries. With 15,000 industry professionals in attendance, the three-day event showcased the strength and unity of the industry, surpassing all expectations.
Spanning over 200,000 square feet of exhibition and show floor educational space, IRE hosted close to 600 leading international and domestic suppliers and manufacturers, with 167 companies making a debut appearance. Captivating audiences with cutting-edge technology, products and services, exhibitors delivered immersive demonstrations and hands-on experiences directly on the show floor.
“This year’s expo was nothing short of exceptional, exceeding our expectations in every way. With packed exhibit halls, standing-room-only keynote sessions, and an overwhelming enthusiasm to learn and connect, IRE has solidified itself as the most impactful event in the roofing and exteriors industries,” states Rich Russo, Show Director of International Roofing Expo. "The consistent growth in attendance and engagement year after year is a testament to the industry's dedication and our commitment to delivering indispensable tools that drive progress and cultivate skill development."
In addition to the exhibition, IRE provided an extensive range of educational opportunities, offering more than 45 sessions on cutting-edge topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainable materials and solar energy, rebuilding and regulatory changes affecting the industry. The significant increase in conference participation reflects the industry's overwhelming demand for knowledge and innovation.
IRE 2024 also embraced inclusivity and diversity throughout the event. To ensure a welcoming environment for Hispanic contractors, initiatives such as bilingual signage, staff and dedicated information kiosks were implemented. The engagement and appreciation from Hispanic contractors underscored IRE's commitment to becoming the leading marketplace for the roofing and exteriors industry's Hispanic community.
Recognizing the need to explore new trends and opportunities, IRE continues to emphasize the Exteriors category, featuring renowned brands such as GutterFoam, James Hardie, LP SmartSide Trim & Siding, Tesla Energy, Velux and Tando Composites. Catering to contractors and roofing professionals, the pavilion provided valuable tools and insights to diversify into new verticals. Complemented by dedicated clinics and education areas, participants remained informed about the latest trends in siding, exterior trim, windows and doors.
Looking ahead, IRE is excited to announce that the International Roofing Expo 2025 will take place at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, from February 19th to 21st, 2025. Attendees can anticipate yet another groundbreaking event, packed with innovation, education and networking opportunities.
