Recently, the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) proudly announced the formation of its 100th chapter.
As the global authority in materials protection and performance, this milestone marks the organization’s global expansion and a commitment to connecting professionals across the industries it serves.
This historic moment took place during the 2024 AMPP Annual Conference + Expo in New Orleans, La., which has gathered nearly 6,000 attendees from around the world.
The association’s Membership Program Committee approved the creation of three new chapters in Kentucky, Iraq, and Australia. With the inclusion of these chapters, Australia was designated as AMPP’s 100th chapter, symbolizing the organization’s broad reach across continents.
“The establishment of our 100th chapter in Australia is not just a number, but a testament to the vibrant and growing community of professionals dedicated to the advancement of materials protection and performance,” said Cortney Chalifoux, chair of the Membership Program Committee. “It represents our commitment to providing our members with local networks and resources, regardless of where they are in the world.”
AMPP’s CEO also commented on this significant expansion, emphasizing the organization's vision for the future.
