MAKITA Releases New Lineup of Diamond Blades in Multiple Sizes

Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has brought new innovation to the accessory category with an expansive list of Diamond Blades that are optimized for use with battery powered grinders and power cutters. Features include an ultra-thin kerf and redesigned cutting surfaces deliver faster cutting speeds, more cuts per charge, and longer blade life.

New Blades, New Design

The new Diamond Blades includes 4-1/2”, 5”, 7”, 9” 12” and 14” blades to be used with a variety of tools including grinders and power cutters. The range in sizes will allow users to perform cutting tasks in a variety of materials including masonry, block, roof tiles, pavers, reinforced concrete, and more.

Ultra-Thin Kerf, Segmented Turbo, and All Cut

The new line of Diamond Blades are offered in three separate segments:

  • Ultra-Thin Kerf Blades are available in 4-1/2”, 5”, 7” 9”, 12” and 14”. Blades are optimized for use with battery power tools offering reduced motor drag and up to 80% more cuts per charge. Cutting edges feature Turbo U-Notches that efficiently eject dust delivering two-times faster cutting and vent holes.
  • Segmented Turbo Blades are available in 4-1/2” 5”, and 7” blades sizes. Blades feature turbo groove segments that reduce friction and deliver up to 45% faster cuts while 50% taller cutting segments provide four-times longer blade life.
  • All-Cut Blades are available in 14”. Blades feature a Turbo M-Notch to aggressively remove material for up to 20% faster cuts, and an Undercut Segment to increase durability for up to 60% longer blade life. The blades also feature an optimum bond matrix that makes them ideal for cutting a variety of materials.
