Webcast: Appropriate Uses of Polyurea Spray Technology

Though many in the industry have doubted the use of elastomeric systems — and more specifically, polyurea-based coatings because of their “polyether backbone” — the use of proper systems designed for this specific application has proven highly successful over 30-plus years of service.

Ultimately, designing and using appropriate spray elastomeric coatings systems offers a solution to many corrosion issues associated with our industry.

With that in mind, start your 2025 with a new webcast from CoatingsPro Magazine! In this session on Thursday, January 9, attendees will learn:

  • Real characteristics of polyurea spray technology;
  • Proper application uses;
  • The importance of proper training; and
  • The use of related industry standards.

The webinar will be presented by Dudley J. Primeaux II, owner and operator of Primeaux Associates LLC. Formed in 2001, Primeaux Associates LLC provides a variety of consulting, product development, training, and inspection services related to the urethane foam and coatings industry.

Primeaux has B.S. and M.S. degrees in chemistry from Lamar University in Beaumont, Tex., and he was employed by Texaco Chemical Company, Huntsman Corporation. He holds AMPP-PCS, Protective Coatings Specialist and CCI Concrete Coatings Inspector, Level II certifications, and is an active AMPP Instructor.

Primeaux is a named inventor of 31 U.S. patents and eight European patents, as well as an accomplished author of over 60 technical publications pertaining to urethane foams, polyurea elastomeric coating and lining technologies, performance testing, and inspection practices.

Registration for this January 9 webcast is available here. It can also be watched after the live presentation in an on-demand format.
