The Roofing Alliance, the foundation of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), is ready to recognize and celebrate the 2022 National Roofing Week.
The annual National Roofing Week, which takes place this year from June 5-10, 2022, is designed to increase awareness about the significance of roofs to homes and businesses while sharing good deeds by the industry. The Roofing Alliance has a mission to spotlight ongoing initiatives that continue to raise the professionalism and reputation of the roofing industry.
NRCA encourages roofing professionals to participate in National Roofing Week by engaging in their communities and informing the public about the essential role roofs and professional roofing contractors play in every community. The industry is encouraged to follow the NRCA and the Roofing Alliance social media pages and by sharing their content across all roofing channels.
Here is a list of this year’s daily themes, along with information on how the Roofing Alliance plans to spotlight important initiatives:
Sunday, June 5: It’s National Roofing Week! The alliance is encouraging members to participate and help create awareness about the significance of roofs to every home and business. Additional information is available at NRCA’s website.
Monday, June 6: For Signature Projects Day, contractors are asked to share photos showcasing their company’s signature residential and commercial projects, all while using the #NationalRoofingWeek hashtag. Those interested can also check out more information about the winning project from the 2021-22 Roofing Alliance Gold Circle Awards.
Tuesday, June 7: For Charitable Projects Day, contractors are asked to share photos demonstrating their company’s charitable giving. This is a great opportunity to celebrate the alliance’s partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities by posting photos related to each group’s adopted Ronald McDonald House program while using the hashtag #RoofsforRMHC.
Wednesday, June 8: For Employee Appreciation Day, contractors can share photos of star employees while highlighting the most valuable players (MVPs) in each company. Another great way to celebrate those MVPs is by nominating them for the Roofing Alliance MVP Awards program, for which further details will be available soon. #NationalRoofingWeek is the official hashtag.
Thursday, June 9: On Employee Training Day, the Roofing Alliance is emphasizing its provision of funds to develop NRCA’s ProCertification program. Using the #NationalRoofingWeek hashtag, contractors are asked to share photos demonstrating worker training.
Friday, June 10: To wind down activities, roofing contractors are asked to share photos showing how their company celebrated the week. Again, #NationalRoofingWeek is the hashtag for social media.
