FABX Rescue and Recovery SRLs are built with the same durable components as the rest of the FABX line, but incorporate raise and lower functionality, making them perfect for rescue or confined space operations. FABX SRL-Rs feature an easy-engage gear mechanism and the unique bi-directional rescue system that allows the rescuer to instantly switch from raise to lower simply by changing the direction of handle rotation. FABX SRL-Rs can be used overhead as a standard SRL with recovery functionality or attached to the lightweight Checkmate TR3 tripod for confined space work.
FABX Offshore SRLs are designed for permanent installation in harsh environments, up to and including offshore applications. FABX OS SRLs are built with corrosion-resistant stainless-steel internal components utilizing stainless steel or Dyneema® fiber rope lifelines with stainless-steel dual-locking carabiners. The FABX OS’s clear housing aids pre-work and Competent Person inspection of internal components, and the built-in drain point helps keep the OS dry and reduces internal condensation in high-humidity environments. **Special Order Only
FABX Leading Edge capable SRLs are built around a robust steel load-bearing chassis featuring the advanced O-ring-sealed Xcalibre braking system. All FABX SRL-LEs utilize a 3/16” galvanized steel lifeline with a dual-locking alloy connector for secure attachment to the anchor. The proprietary Force Management System controls energy dissipation during a fall and is contained in a sealed ergonomic handle that provides a secure grip when function-testing the unit. FABX SRL-LEs have a weight capacity of 130-310 lbs. and are rated for up to 5’ of free fall.
