Ergodyne announced the evolution of their face coverings line with the addition of three face masks to the Skullerz® line. The launch includes three models: 8800 Contoured, 8801 Pleated and 8802F(x) Contoured.
“On the job site, you’ve got a variety of roles with differing risk levels as it pertains to Covid-19 exposure,” says Chris Cota, Senior Product Manager for Ergodyne. “This new line of masks will complement our top-selling multi-bands, allowing us to offer a range of face protection to suit any task and working environment.”
Each model is reusable and have at least two-layers to meet CDC and WHO recommendations for multiple layers of protection.
Cota pointed to the airline industry as a case study for how a worksite might implement different protective solutions. “Working in confined and heavily-trafficked spaces, flight attendants would necessitate the higher level of filtration provided by the F(x) Contoured mask. On the opposite side of that spectrum is the ground crew, who are more easily able to distance on the job. These workers might benefit most from a Multi-Band, which provides less protection but more breathability for comfort and safety during strenuous physical tasks,” said Cota. “Everyone else probably lands somewhere in between, and can look to the Contoured and Pleated models as a great multipurpose face covering.”
“The current situation demands that we expand our definition of what it means to keep workers safe,” says Tom Votel, Ergodyne President & CEO. “We’re excited at this opportunity to deliver another line of innovative, high-quality solutions to an incredibly real-time worker problem.”
