Redwood Painting Wins Sixth Consecutive International Safety Award

Redwood Painting, Co. Inc., an industrial coatings company based out of Pittsburg, California, extended their nationally-recognized safety record through 2020.

They were awarded their sixth consecutive FCA CREST award (Contractors Recognizing Excellence in Safety Training) at the International Leadership Council held in Boston.

They have received recognition every year since the awards started in 2011, and were finalists for the award the three years prior to winning in the Industrial Coating "More than 150,000 Hours" catego1y for the first time in 2014 and have continued receiving the award eve1y year since.

The FCA CREST Awards encourages and recognizes excellence in safety training and are designed to objectively evaluate contractors based on key leading and lagging measures of safety. Winners are objectively selected based on key safety metrics including number of years the company has had a safety program, safety training, injmy/illness rates, recordable incident rates, EMR trends, etc. Winners of this award are considered to have the top safety programs in their respective industries internationally.

As of October 31, 2020, Redwood Painting Co., Inc. has gone nine years and over 1,800,000 hours without an OSHA recordable incident in their field operations.
