Height Safety Leader Guardian is excited to announce its B7-Comfort Tower Climbing Harness has won the 2024 Pro Tool Innovation Award (PTIA) as the most innovative product in the category of Safety - Tethering and Fall Protection. This marks the 2nd year in a row Guardian – and the B7-Comfort Harness family - has been recognized as the most innovative in this category.
In its twelfth year, the Pro Tool Innovation Awards seek to discover and recognize the most innovative tools, accessories, and products across a wide variety of industries and categories.
This is what the PTIA judges had to say about the B7-Comfort Harness: "When you climb, you need solid, reliable protection plus a comfortable fit so you can focus on the job and not on adjusting your gear to alleviate pressure points. We like the O-Ring hip design, which gives you integrated torso and leg support with wide-open mobility. The padded seat sling is replaceable and includes 6-inches of adjustability. All the hardware is durable, lightweight aircraft-grade aluminum that won’t weigh you down. Finally, we like the wear-indicated webbing, which reveals a red inner core when it’s damaged or worn".

This includes the Patent-Pending DiaLock Adjusters, the unique Three-Six-O Harness Chassis, and the first ever adjustable padding set on a fall protection harness (patent-pending) - particularly the adjustable waist pad, which lends to the Adjustable Tool Bag Attachment System. The Tower Climbing Harness also includes an adjustable and removable aluminum-based, padded seat to give users further comfort while in suspension or positioning at extreme heights.
Sean Wirth, Senior Product Manager at Guardian said, “We’re honored and ecstatic to have won this award in back-to-back years. It’s just a testament to the great team and strong commitment to innovation we have here at Guardian.”
